Many of our customers will remember Queens Park Pharmacy in its previous location at 474 Holdenhurst Road, when Henry Olswang was the owner and pharmacist.
The name was chosen because of its proximity to Queen’s Park. Local records show that there had been a pharmacy on the same site since 1931, when the pharmacist was Mr Peter Stirrup. Queen’s Park Pharmacy moved to its present location in 1993.
I am Mr Rajesh Kerai, Senior Pharmacist, I qualified as a pharmacist in 1998. I worked for Moss Pharmacy (now Boots Local), then as a locum pharmacist in the London area and the Thames Valley. I moved to Bournemouth in 2004 when I bought the pharmacy.
I and my supporting Pharmacists, dispensing technicians and pharmacy assistants endeavour daily to deliver superlative pharmacy services to a wonderful local community many of whom are like friends.

The way you order your repeat prescriptions has changed. Due to local policy changes you are now not able to order your prescriptions from the pharmacy. Instaed order using the NHS APP or the NHS WEBSITE. You can also order from your surgery website or in-person at the surgery with your repeat slip

- We'll only contact you if we need to
- Due to changes in national policy, we can no longer take requests for prescription medicines (see step 1)

We offer free NHS and private three or five day-after treatments. No appointment is required and we have chaperones available if required.

Head lice cause children/parents great anxiety and great discomfort. We can provide advice on the best way to rid yourself of this distressing condition
HEALTHY LIVING PHARMACY
We provide advice on many health concerns including diabetes, alcohol awareness etc. We support ONE YOU, Get Active and other health initiatives.
NEEDLE/SYRINGE EXCHANGE
We can safely dispose of used injection equipment to minimise risk to yourself and others. We provide a client-centred and confidential service.
NHS CONTRACEPTION SERVICE
Coming soon: You'll be able to access routine oral contraception for the first time or as a repeat, direct from our Pharmacist No GP required. A FREE service. Takes just 10 minutes. No appointment required .
NHS Pharmacy First
Pharmacy First is NHS-funded and provides prescription-strength treatments from your pharmacist without a GP. The service covers Sinusitis, Sore throat, Earache, Infected insect bites, Impetigo, Shingles, and Urinary Tract Infections. No appointment is required - walk in or call for a consultation.
POST DISCHARGE SUPPORT SERVICE
Returning home after a stay in hospital can be daunting. Let us help you settle back by supporting you with your use and understanding of your medication.
PREGNANCY TESTING
Our pregnancy testing kits are over 99% accurate. They can tell you if you are pregnant up to four days before your first missed period.
PRESCRIPTIONS NHS/PRIVATE
We dispense NHS, Private and Electronic prescriptions from any doctor registered in the UK and some European countries. We dispense Vet prescriptions too!
PRESCRIPTION COLLECT/DELIVER
